Hello,

I’m John A. Wilson, Certified Advanced Rolfer® offering skilled myofascial work in Denver, CO, near Capital Hill (and seasonally in Tucson, AZ). I use a holistic approach to help clients improve posture, ease chronic pain, and move with greater freedom. With decades of experience (beginning in 2002), I create an individualized approach for each person’s needs and goals in a supportive environment. I see clients in the afternoons and evenings, as I devote my mornings to meditation and study, which I consider essential to both my personal life and my professional practice.

Credentials
I completed the Basic and Advanced Training through the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute® in Colorado, building on my certification in Rolfing® Structural Integration. Advanced Rolfers have completed post-graduate training in movement, biomechanics, and structural integration to address more complex patterns of pain, posture, and movement.

I am a member of the Dr, Ida Rolf Institute, and have done some additional training in their Teacher Training Program as well.  To verify if any Rolfer in the U.S. is certified you can do so through the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute by Clicking Here

From the beginning Rolfing developed a reputation for being painful and excessively heavy handed. Over time people discovered that we can still get the same changes without being so aggressive. This, however, has led to a trend in the opposite direction, many newer Rolfers practice with a very light hand, something I do not generally do unless it really seems necessary.  I feel that with most people it is helpful if their nervous system can feel the logic and intention of what we are doing in  the session, and not walk out wondering if anything really happened. It is because of this I generally go the middle ground with people in my sessions.

The most fundamental approach to Rolfing to do a basic 10 series.  A short series usually consists of 3 sessions.  You can come in anywhere from once a month to once a week when doing a series, and anytime you want when not going through a series.  You may find that you do not need to see a Rolfer as often as you do a Chiropractor or massage therapist.  It is not necessary to do a Rolfing series to benefit from it, we have extensive education in anatomy, posture correction, and movement.  Book a session today and find out!

Packages are not refundable but are fully transferable and do not expire.  Share them with friends and family.
